                               RESOLUTION NO. 19391
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF
                   ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED (1,900) FEET OF
                   EIGHT INCH (8") WATER MAIN AND SEVEN (7)
                   FIRE HYDRANTS FOR PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION AT
                   LOCATIONS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE
                   TARIFF THEREFOR.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the installation of 1,900 feet of
       eight inch (8") water main and seven (7) fire hydrants for public 

       fire protection be and is hereby authorized at locations 
described
       herein:
            1.	 1,450 feet of 8" water main from the existing
                 termination point at 1001 Reads Lake Road, north.
           
            2.	 450 feet of 8" water main on O'Grady Drive from the
                 existing termination point north of Elder View
                 Drive, north.
           
            3.	 One (1) fire hydrant at the intersection of Halsey
                 Street and Slayton Avenue.
           
            4.	 One (1) fire hydrant on 28th Street, 600 feet east
                 of the intersection at Long Street.
           
            5.	 One (1) fire hydrant on Williams Street 600 feet
                 north of the intersection at W. 33rd Street.
           
            6.	 One (1) fire hydrant 250 feet west of the
                 cul-de-sac on Hamilton Run Drive.
           
            7.	 One (1) fire hydrant at 1024 Reads Lake Road.
           
            8.	 One (1) fire hydrant across from 1324 O'Grady
                 Drive.

            9.	 One (1) fire hydrant at 1425 O'Grady Drive.
           
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment of the tariff to
       the Tennessee-American Water Company be and is hereby authorized.
